The mission of AVIX-RT is to ease development of embedded systems employing concurrency. This mission is accomplished by:
- Providing a Real Time Operating System developed both from a developers perspective and a systems perspective. The developer perspective is illustrated by features making the RTOS easy to use and providing insight in its internal operation. The systems perspective is illustrated by the RTOS deploying the full power of the hardware it is operating on without degrading capabilities offered by that hardware.
- Providing courses and workshops in the field of concurrent system design thereby increasing knowledge leading to qualitative better systems.
