For the March 2008 issue of Elektor, AVIX-RT has written an article describing the use and advantages of using an RTOS (Real Time Operating System) with a micro controller. To accompany this article, an application is developed that can be used on a Microchip Explorer 16 development board, equipped with a 24FJ128GA010 Micro controller and a AC164125 speech reproduction Pictail plus card.
This application, together with a demo distribution of AVIX and all applicable documentation can be freely downloaded from this site.
